Hello everyone!
As you might have noticed we got this thing called Raid Tracker.
It's a very useful utility to manage Raids, arrange Loot, etc.
To make the runs fair for everyone we took care of a good system for a "virtual" currency to use on the Loot you desire.

How will the Loot System affect the Raids?

You get Points for every Raid that is announced and lead by any Leader whether it is a Raid-Leader, a Co-Leader or the Free Company leader.
Those Raids will be listed in the Raid Tracker. The Points differ according to the Difficulty and the Itemlevel of the Loot the Raid offers.

The achieved points of one run will usually cover 100% of the costs for one piece of gear. Accessoires will usually have a cost of around 50% points and Weapons 125%-150% points of one run.

Important! If an Item drops you are not allowed to roll just yet!

If an item drops people have to wait first, so those who want to "buy" the item with their points get priority. In this case players can use their points to obtain an item while the others pass. If someone else wants to "buy" the item, the 2 (or more) players can increase the amount of the points used, until they're the highest Bidder.

For example:
The Snoop Tabard of Weed drops.
It costs 15 DKP to buy the Tabard with Priority.

Raid Member A owns 15 DKP.
Raid Member B owns 20 DKP.

Let the Looting begin!

A says he wants to buy the Tabard for 15 DKP.
B wants it too, so he says he pays the price of 15DKP + additional 5 DKP to out-bid A
A can't afford 20DKP so he has to pass on the Tabard.

B can now roll on the Tabard while everyone else passes

Careful! If you want to roll on an item of another class a 50% fee will be added to the price you have to pay!

In case no one wants the item, or no one can afford the item, everyone is allowed to roll Greed on it (Even if you got the Need button accessible!)
Still, we will keep Track of these Free-Rolls to avoid of it being abused.

Also to prevent that New Raid Members can't bid on items, cause it's their first run, the Leaders can decide to give those members priority without DKP cost. :)
We have some freedom in this system and I am sure that other members will have no issue with helping out new and under-geared members!

Additional Rules

There isn't too much to obey when doing a Raid, but bear in mind these rules
to prevent being (temporarily) disqualified from the Raid Pool.

1. Listen to the Raid-Leader and ask for help/ try to help the Group improving, even if you fail on a Raid.
2. Don't rage if someone legitimately rolls for/ buys his gear. This loot system only works if everyone obeys it.
3. If you're selecting the class you're going to play as in the Raid Group, you won't be able to change it so easily. If you want to play a different class or another Role talk with a leader and make sure you got someone else to jump in for your old Role.
4. We all got to manage our free-time somehow, but please make sure you'll be available once you joined a Raid on a specific date.
5. Have Fun! We're all playing this game to enjoy it as much as possible, so let's rock all the Raids together and make an awesome time out of it!

I have not done a single raid but I'l looking forward to this!

Hi, just a thought for as and when we start raiding will we be allowed to go into minus points to out bid those who have more points then new raid members. Because if not the bid using points system is unfair the gear should be need before greed. But if 2 people need the drop its should be the same point value and rolled on.

We actually thought of some way to solve that issue, I just forgot to add it to the main post (you might imagine, cause it's quite huge :D)

And regarding the Need and Greed. Players have to pay an additional charge if they want to roll on an item which doesn't belong to their current main class.This allows them to get gear for their potential new main class for example. (especially with Heavensward coming)

Where will the points which you have earned after sucessfully completing the raid stand? Also, Are the Labyrinth of the ancients, Syrcus tower and World of darkness raid still going to be added to this post?

In the Raid Tracker, in the special Raid Pool all players are gonna be listed together with their available points. And no, no Crystal Tower series dungeons cause they're: 1 - easy as fuck, 2 - don't really need a roll system, 3 - could be abused to farm points. :D
But still we can arrange days in the Guildwork Schedule Tab to make a Tower-farming-day if you like. :p
So everyone who wants to participate can take their time on dat day.
